NYSE-listed Diana Shipping this week announced that its dry bulk carrier “Myrsini” has been time chartered to Bocimar International, at a daily gross charter rate of USD 27,750, minus a 5-percent commission fee paid to third parties.

The agreement runs until at least Oct. 15, 2021 and up to a maximum of Nov. 30, 2021, and will commence on May 10.

M/V Myrsini is one of Diana Shipping’s Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels. It’s listed at 82,117 dwt and was built in 2010.

According to a press release by the company, which is controlled by the Paliou family, employment of “Myrsini” is anticipated to generate approximately US$4.3 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping is a global provider of shipping transportation services through its ownership of dry bulk vessels. The company’s vessels are employed primarily on medium to long-term time charters and transport a range of dry bulk cargoes, including such commodities as iron ore, coal, grain and other materials along worldwide shipping routes.
