The mayor of Sifnos, Maria Nadali, spoke to MEGA about the enchanting beauty of the island.
This year Sifnos hosts the 27th International Open Sea Sailing Race “Cyclades 2021”.
This is a very joyful event, as last year the match did not take place due to the conditions. 32 boats and more than 200 people have already arrived on the island.
Everything shows that tourism will go well on the island. “The bookings show that in August and September we will have a larger influx of tourists,” said the mayor of the island and added that there is an increase in last year’s bookings and this is very optimistic.
She revealed the three things to do as soon as you reach the enchanting Sifnos: to try the wonderful food, to enjoy the paths of the island that lead to unique places and the beaches with the clear blue waters.
Sifnos is a favorite travel destination for couples and many people choose the island to exchange wedding vows.
