Annual property tax notices were posted on Wednesday by Greece’s independent authority for public revenues (AADE), the renamed tax bureau, on a newly debuted online platform, called myAADE.
This year’s property tax, known as ENFIA with the Greek-language abbreviation, will be divided into six equal installments.
One novelty this year is that the first two installment can be paid by Oct. 29, instead of the first being due at the end of this month.
Most property owners without any change in their holdings will pay the exact same tax on real estate as they did in 2020, although some 1.3 million taxpayers will see a decrease in their property tax rates from between 50 percent to as much as 100 percent.
