The event for the opening of the new, award-winning bioclimatic offices of Webhelp Hellas in Neos Kosmos was successfully held on Friday afternoon (05/11).
During the event, the representatives of Webhelp Hellas had the opportunity to present to the attendees the vision and the development strategy of the company for the coming years.
True to its philosophy of continuous and sustainable development with an emphasis on environmental, social and economic sustainability, Webhelp Hellas is pioneering once again, completely upgrading the former Eleftherotypia building, turning it into a high-standard modern, bioclimatic building that is gem of the whole area.
Giannis Bouzios, General Manager of Webhelp Hellas, said: “We are proud to have contributed to the reversal of the brain drain of the last decade, bringing back to Greece great talents, satisfying their ambitions for a career in their homeland. We are proud that in our course we have provided equal employment opportunities to the long-term unemployed and people from vulnerable social groups “.
The event for this important initiative of Webhelp Hellas was honored by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology Mr. Christos Dimas, the Mayor of Athens Mr. Costas Bakogiannis and the General Secretary of Demographic and Family Policy and Equality Gianna Hormova. Also, through a videotaped message, the Governor of Attica, Mr. George Patoulis, addressed the audience.
Mr. Christos Dimas said: “On behalf of the government we are here to consider how to help other investments in Athens and other parts of Greece, and we want to see this relationship grow even more.”
On his part, Mr. Costas Bakogiannis pointed out: “You breathed new life into a historic building and turned it into an ornament that stands out for its innovation, sustainability and durability. It is a new building that goes hand in hand with the new Athens “.
Ms. Hormova said: “Webhelp impressed me with the number of women working for the company, especially in senior positions. “I want to thank you for strengthening the female presence and the empowerment of women as a whole and to invite you in 2022 to become an ambassador for the gender equality program.”
Finally, Attica governor Mr. Patoulis addressed a greeting through a videotaped message to the Webhelp team and the attendees.
