Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met briefly on Friday in Paris with US Vice-President Kamala Harris, on the sidelines of an international conference on Libya.

According to government sources, the two leaders discussed the recent signing of the five-year extension of the Greece-US Mutual Defense Cooperation Agreement (MDCA), which confirmed the excellent level of bilateral relations and Athens’ recognition as a pillar of stability in the wider region.

Another matter discussed were possible dates for the Greek premier’s visit to Washington.
