Tourism: Greece easing pandemic-related travel restrictions ahead of summer season

Greece will ease pandemic-related travel restrictions for EU citizens on March 1, with the aim to be open for business ahead of the all-important summer tourism season.
“Our country is taking all necessary preparations this year to welcome visitors for the summer season, earlier than ever before, as of March 1,” Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias told reporters on Friday.
Earlier, the relevant health minister individuals holding valid EU vaccination certificates will be able to enter Greece without having to submit results of a Covid-19 test, beginning on Monday.
