Notam warns air carriers to stay away from Ukraine FIR
The directive extends for three months
Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday issued a Notam, following a similar announcement by EASA, regarding the closing of Ukrainian airspace to civil aviation, citing the high risks in the wider area due to military activity.
Air carriers are also instructed to show increased caution when flying close to Ukrainian and Russian airspace.
The directive extends for three months, until May 24, 2022.
