Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece this year chose to honor Ioanna Papadopoulou, president and CEO of the historic cookie and pastry industry E.I. Papadopoulos SA, awarding her the 6th Business Unusual Award, for her continuous contribution to the Greek business community and her contribution to society.
The pioneering Greek industrialist Ioanna Papadopoulou has been at the helm of the historic Papadopoulos biscuit and food industry since 1993. The company has managed to combine business success and contribution to the country’s economy with contribution to society. Even during the financial crisis of the last decade, Ioanna Papadopoulou defended and further developed the company’s long tradition in innovation and Greekness, consolidating the position of its products in the daily lives of Greek families.
The Alba Business Unusual Awards were established in 2010 and are awarded every two years to personalities from Greece and abroad who, due to the significant impact of their activities on the Greek economy and society, are role models of personal and professional behavior.
The event took place on Tuesday 14 June at Golf Privé in Glyfada and brought together representatives of the business, academic and political world.
