Extension for the long-term lease of the Oceanida property on the Vouliagmeni Coast
An original and highly influential work by distinguished architects
The extension of the electronic open tender for the long-term lease of the Oceanida property on the coast of Vouliagmeni was announced by the Hellenic Public Properties Co. (HPPC).
Friday, September 30, 2022 is set as the new deadline for submitting the Bid offer.
The purpose of the competition is the development of a tourism and/or food service business in accordance with the provisions in force in the area and the overall upgrading and renovation of the property. The duration of the lease is for 10 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 10 years, upon agreement between HPPC and the contractor.
Iconic building
Oceanida is an emblematic building, within the Vouliagmeni Coast, in a particularly privileged position with an amazing view, in one of the most beautiful parts of the Athenian Riviera, which has linked its name to the modern history of the coastline of Attica. It is an original and highly influential work by the distinguished architects Pr. Vassiliadis, P. Sakellariou, Em. Vourekas and their partner N.P. Hatzimichalis designed in the early 60s.
The property for rent consists of a surface area of 2,725 sq.m., within which is located the cafe-restaurant “Oceanida” which has three levels, with a total surface area of 1,127.20 sq.m., as well as a cottage of surface area of 27.20 sq.m.. According to the Energy Performance Certificate, the property belongs to energy category C’.
