PPC blue – Sklavenitis collaborate for 1,400 charging points in stores throughout Greece
Charging station energy will be produced exclusively by RES
PPC Blue and Sklavenitis supermarket chain have entered into a collaboration for the development of hundreds of charging points for electric cars, with energy produced exclusively from renewable sources.
The initiative aims at installing 687 electric vehicle charging stations, which will cover 1,374 charging positions (each charger will serve up to 2 vehicles simultaneously) in 119 stores of the SKLAVENITIS chain throughout Greece, within 2022-23, creating an extensive network of electric charging stations throughout the country.
Drivers will be able to use the PPC Blue service and charge their vehicle during store operating hours, but also at other times, as long as the parking area has free access.
The charging stations will be located in the parking lots of large and medium-sized SKLAVENITIS stores, while the collaboration also includes the installation of fast chargers in selected stores of the company.
