In the message, he expresses his condolences to the family of the deceased and notes that History will judge Constantine of public life fairly and strictly.
The Prime Minister’s entire statement
“The eventful journey of the former King Constantine marked and was marked by troubled moments in the modern history of the country.
From wounds that were healed, however, by the choices, the free conscience and the maturity of our people. But also the discreet, it is true, attitude of the same in all the years of the Post-junta period.
With his death, now, and on a human level, the formal epilogue of a chapter that has been definitively closed with the referendum of 1974 is being written.
History now has the say. It will judge Constantine;s civic life fairly and strictly.
Because the man Konstantinos is already accompanied by sadness and respect in the face of the loss of life itself.
My sincere condolences to his family.”
