Notis Mitarakis submitted his resignation for personal reasons to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis by the Minister of Citizen Protection, which was duly accepted.
The current Deputy Minister of Education, Religions and Sports, Yiannis Oikonomou, takes over the position of Notis Mitarakis as Minister of Citizen Protection.
