Greek fan murder: Struggling to find murderer – New shocking facts come to light
The videos and photos from the incident are dark and faces are not clearly visible
The search for the killer of Michalis Katsouris by Croatian hooligans outside the Nea Philadelphia stadium is intensifying, as so far the authorities have not been able to identify the man who took the life of the 29-year-old.
Under the microscope of police come new documents that have been released showing the action of the hooligans, as can be seen from new videos, who behaved like a military group.
The main problem for the Authorities investigating the murder of Michalis, is that there is no clear shot from the stadium’s security cameras, of the moment when the unfortunate 29-year-old received the fatal stab in the arm.
Greek fan murder: The facts that show the “rendezvous” of death outside the AEK stadium
In other words, it seems that the spot where the AEK fan received the murderous blow was “blind” since it was probably not recorded by cameras.
Police sources state that this is an extremely difficult case, as the videos and photos from the incident are dark and no clear faces can be seen, while at the same time there is no desire on the part of the arrested to reveal what they know.

In the footage available to it and used by the Greek Police, 29-year-old Michalis can be seen shortly before the incidents with the Croatian hooligans broke out, but also when he turns back and – after the stabbing – receives another blow, this time with someone with bat or club.
After a few minutes, the 29-year-old heads to the booth to hide behind an ice cream cooler, where he collapses moments later.
Videos from the cell phones of the arrested under scrutiny
Meanwhile, authorities are trying to gather new information about the events that led to the death of the 29-year-old.
In the “microscope” are all the videos from the mobile phones of the arrested persons that were confiscated, as well as the images from the security cameras in the area.
According to police sources. the officers investigating the videos collected by the Authorities, the figure of the person who inflicted the fatal blow with the knife on 29-year-old Michalis can be seen.
According to information, the perpetrator is tall, robust, while his features were covered. Where the police are focusing is on the tattoo this particular man had on his neck, although there appear to be several of those arrested with neck tattoos.
The 26 minutes of horror
The images and videos coming from the scene of Michalis’ murder are shocking.
The visual material captures frame by frame the moments from the start of the hooligans’ murderous attack and the fierce fights, until the moment of the collapse of the 29-year-old AEK fan.
At 23:05, the 29-year-old can be seen moving with other AEK fans towards the spot where the neo-Nazi hooligans of Dinamo Zagreb have made their appearance.
The organized fans of the Croatian team had gathered on the side of Patriarch Constantine. Dressed in black, with covered faces, with stilettos, with all kinds of weapons, they are waiting for the order from the leader of the murderous battalion to head towards the stadium and attack the AEK fans.
Then the fight begins. An eyewitness records from afar the episodes that last less than two minutes. The place turns into a battlefield, with molotov cocktails, firecrackers and flares thrown.
At 23:08 a security camera records the retreat of AEK fans. Among them is Michalis Katsouris.
He is seen running to escape, trying to avoid the blows of the Croatian hooligans. At 23:08:03 one of them catches up with him and hits him with a bat from behind. Shortly before, he has been fatally stabbed in the left arm.
The 29-year-old continues to run and heads towards the cafeterias. 22 seconds after the hit with the bat, Michalis is recorded by another camera.
Immediately afterwards, the 29-year-old is removed from the surrounding area of the stadium via the footbridge. Blood can be seen everywhere.
The mystery convoy of 50 motorcycles
As reported yesterday by MEGA channel in its main news bulletin, the policemen who handcuffed the hooligans describe the incidents in detail while also referring to a mysterious group of fifty bicyclists who were spotted moving 20 minutes after the end of the incidents outside the Rizoupoli stadium.
It is even being examined whether it is Greek fans who helped the Croatian hooligans in their escape.
“About 11:50 p.m. when we arrived at the Rizoupoli stadium from the Antheo side, we saw a group of about fifty two-wheelers with two passengers each, almost thirty meters away from us.
As soon as they noticed us, they turned their engines around and fled in the direction of Chalkidos Street”, says a police officer.
